Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Terrance Anderson Lewis, 20, (DOB: 09/02/2001), of Detroit, in connection with the fatal shooting of Francisco O'Neal, 48, also of Detroit. The defendant and the victim knew each other and had been involved in a dispute prior to the shooting.

On July 11, 2022, at approximately 2:41 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a liquor store in the 19340 block of West Warren Avenue in Detroit for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim inside the store, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Members of the Detroit Fire Department arrived on scene and transported Mr. O'Neal to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Terrance Anderson Lewis has been charged with one count of First-Degree Murder, one count of Felon in Possession, and one count of Felony Firearm. *

He was arraigned and remanded to jail this morning in 36th District Court.
