Detroit Man Charged in Non-Fatal Crash
On March 11, 2021, at 3:30 a.m., Detroit police were dispatched to a crash that took place at the intersection of Fort Street and Waterman Road. It is alleged that the defendant was driving at a high speed when he struck a semi-trailer. Both the defendant and his 21-year-old female passenger in were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Jean Paul Guerrero has been charged with the felony, Reckless Driving Causing Serious Injury. He has also been charged with the misdemeanor, Driving While License is Suspended. *
Police are making arrangements for the defendant to be arraigned in 36th District Court. No arraignment time or date has been confirmed by DPD at this time. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Detroit Police Department after the arraignment.
