Detroit Man Charged in Revere Street Fatal Shooting
On July 22, 2021 at approximately 5:35 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 19610 block of Revere Street in Detroit for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim on the front porch of the residence with a gunshot wound. Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
It is alleged that a verbal altercation escalated, and Defendant Jester fired a handgun, fatally wounding the victim. Investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the arrest of the defendant on July 23, 2021.
Bryce Ricardo-Marcell Jester has been charged with one count of Premeditated First-Degree Murder, one count of Assault with Intent to Murder, and two counts of Felony Firearm. * He was arraigned on July 25, 2021 in 36th District Court. His Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for August 4, 2021 and his Preliminary Examination is scheduled for August 11, 2021 in 36th District Court before Judge Kenyetta Stanford Jones.
