Detroit Man Charged in Skinner Park Non-Fatal Shooting
On August 16, 2022, at approximately 9:51 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 11600 block of Duchess Street in Detroit for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers were flagged down by bystanders who informed officers that the victim was privately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
It is alleged that the defendant was at Skinner Park in the 12800 block of Kelly Road in Detroit when he demanded the victim's shoes at gun point. It is further alleged that the defendant produced and fired a handgun, non-fatally wounding the victim before fleeing the scene. Investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the arrest of the defendant on August 17, 2022.
Anthony Bradford has been charged with one count each of Assault with Intent to Murder, Armed Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resisting and Obstructing and Felony Firearm. *
He was arraigned today in 36th District Court. His Probable Cause Conference is on August 30, 2022, and his Preliminary Examination is on September 6, 2022. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Detroit Police Department after the arraignment.
