On October 21, 2023, at approximately 6:38 a.m., Ms. Woll's lifeless body was found lying outside of a neighbor's apartment located in the 1360 block of Joliet Place in Detroit. She was discovered by another neighbor who was walking past the apartments. This neighbor immediately returned to his home and called 911. The front door to her home was ajar and unlocked, and a significant amount of blood was inside. Blood from the inside of the home led outside of the home. The medical examiner determined that Ms. Woll's death was caused by multiple sharp force wounds with a straight edge cutting instrument, and the manner of death was homicide. More complete facts and evidence in the case will be placed upon the record in court at the preliminary examination in 36th District Court.
