Detroit Man Charged with Multiple Counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Involving a Minor
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Kevin Donte Price, 35, (DOB: 06/26/1982) of Detroit, in connection with multiple sexual assaults involving the 15-year-old daughter of his girlfriend.
On September 29, 2017 at approximately 4:57 a.m., Detroit police officers responded to a police run in the 15000 block of Marlowe in Detroit. It is alleged that upon arrival, the police officers observed the defendant running from the location on foot. Investigation at the scene revealed that a sexual assault with the victim had occurred. Further investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by the defendant on multiple occasions between 2016 and 2017. The defendant was located and arrested.
Price has been charged with three counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and one count of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.* He was arraigned on the warrant at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon before 36th District Court Magistrate Charles Anderson. The probable cause conference is scheduled for October 12, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.; the preliminary examination is scheduled for October 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Both hearings are before Judge Lydia Nance Adams in 36th District Court. The defendant received a $500,000 cash/surety bond.
