Dariyan Bailey, 21, (DOB: 02/21/1999), of Detroit, has been charged by Prosecutor Kym Worthy in connection with the homicides of Anthony Beavers, 29, of River Rouge, and Raymond Williams, 27, of Ecorse.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 10:04 a.m. medics were dispatched to Keeler and Appoline Streets in Detroit and observed Mr. Williams in the driver's seat of a sedan and Mr. Beavers in the passenger seat both suffering from gunshot wounds. Detroit police officers were called to the scene by the medics who pronounced both men deceased. On April 17, 2020, investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the identification and arrest of Defendant Bailey for the homicides. Further details about the case will be produced in court at the Preliminary Examination.

On April 19, 2020, Bailey was charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and two counts of Felony Firearm.* On April 20, 2020, she was arraigned and remanded to jail. Her Probable Cause Conference is on May 5, 2020, and her Preliminary Examination is on May 11, 2020. Both hearings are before Judge Kenneth King in 36th District Court.
