Detroit Woman Charged in Longacre Street Fatal Stabbing
On June 7, 2021 at approximately 5:01 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 9990 block of Longacre Street in Detroit for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim on the ground outside of the residence with a stab wound to the chest. Medics arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. It is alleged that an argument between the defendant and the victim escalated and Defendant Foster fatally stabbed the victim.
Damia Imani Foster has been charged with one count of First-Degree Murder. * She was arraigned today in 36th District Court. Her Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for June 22, 2021 and her Preliminary Examination is scheduled for June 29, 2021 in 36th District Court before Judge Patricia Jefferson.
