On December 27, 2019, Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Devin Ray Cronk, 22 (DOB: 06/16/1997), of Allen Park with the misdemeanors Reckless Driving and Disturbing the Peace.* He was not in custody at the time of the charges.

On December 22, 2019 at approximately 8:00 p.m. it is alleged that he was driving a car doing donuts in the middle of I-94 while other drivers were on the road. While he was doing this, it is alleged that he was endangering citizens who were near the defendant's car. Cronk was identified as the driver of the car and was approached by police officers and fled on foot on December 25, 2019.

Yesterday the defendant turned himself into the Detroit Police Department and received a $100 cash bond. The DPD Officer in Charge of the case has just informed WCPO that Cronk will be arraigned in 36th District Court this afternoon after 1:00 p.m. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Detroit Police Department.

*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
