Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Amos Glen Lowe, 37 (DOB: 05//17/1984), in connection with the murder of his wife Christina Ann Lowe, 30. The couple resided in Flat Rock, Michigan.

On June 15, 2021, at 12: 37 p.m., Flat Rock police officers were dispatched to the couple's home in the 25760 block of Gibraltar Road to do a wellness check because Ms. Lowe did not report for work that morning. The defendant's mother was at the home when the police arrived. She knocked on the door of the home without a response. The landlord assisted the police by allowing them access into the home to investigate. In a back bedroom they discovered the lifeless body of Ms. Lowe with wounds to her neck.

On June 16, 2021, and an alert was sent out by the Flat Rock Police Department requesting tips from the public to locate Defendant Lowe. On June 17, 2021, he was arrested at a hotel in Southgate. It is alleged that the defendant killed his wife by stabbing her multiple times in the neck with a knife. It was reported that they were having marital problems at the time of her death.

Defendant Lowe has been charged with First Degree Murder. * He was arraigned and remanded to jail this morning in 36th District Court by video. Currently 36th District Court handles all weekend warrants in Wayne County. His Probable Cause Conference is on June 29, 2021, and his Preliminary Examination is on July 6, 2021 in 33rd District Court.
