Former Dearborn Heights Police Officer Charged in Assault of Police Officer
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged former Dearborn Heights Police Officer Paul Graf, 33, in connection with the assault of another 23-year-old Dearborn Heights Police Officer.
On December 10, 2021, at approximately 1:25 p.m., at the Dearborn Heights Police Department, located in the 25630 block of Michigan Avenue, it is alleged that while he was employed as a police officer, Defendant Graf assaulted the victim twice with a knife. Defendant Graf was terminated from the Dearborn Heights Police Department on April 25, 2022.
Paul Graf has been charged with two counts of Felonious Assault. *
He was arraigned on July 24, 2023, in 20th District Court and given a $5,000 personal bond. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for August 2, 2023, before Judge Mark Plawecki. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Dearborn Heights Police Department.
