Grosse Ile Man Charged in School Threat Case
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Michael Joseph Kvasnicka, 23, of Grosse Ile, in connection with threats made against the Trenton Public Schools.
On September 16, 2023, at approximately 8:15 p.m., it is alleged that Defendant Kvasnicka made threats to a Trenton Public Schools student and a school using social media. Investigation by the Trenton Police Department led to the arrest of the defendant on September 17, 2023.
Michael Joseph Kvasnicka has been charged with False Report or Threat of Terrorism and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. *
He was arraigned this afternoon in 33rd District Court and received a $300,000 cash/surety bond. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for October 3, 2023, at 8:45 a.m., and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for October 10, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., before Judge Michael McNally.
