Kimball Charged in Homicide of Lamar Waller
On July 12, 2022, at a location in the 18900 block of 8 Mile Road it is alleged that was verbal altercation between Defendant Kimball and the victim outside of their cars. Defendant Kimball got into his car, accelerated, and fatally struck Mr. Waller. He was pronounced deceased on July 18, 2022, from injuries sustained in the deliberate car crash. Investigation by the Detroit Police Department led to the arrest and apprehension of Kimball this week.
Kimball has been charged with one count of First-Degree Murder. *
He was arraigned on August 4, 2022 and was remanded to jail. His Probable Cause Conference is on August 18, 2022, and his Preliminary Examination is on August 25, 2022, both before Judge Kenneth King. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Detroit Police Department.
