National Crime Victims' Rights Week 2022 Observance Events
Please join the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office as we collaborate with the Detroit Crime Victims' Action Team (DCVAT) on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Lafayette Greens Gardens in Detroit, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. for a Crime Victim's Rights presentation. This annual observance unites crime survivors, and the professionals who support our survivors and family members.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., there will be a Vigil for Crime Victims in Lansing. WCPO will also participate in a presentation by Postal Inspectors James McKay and James Van de Putte to our senior community on the various types of fraud schemes that can jeopardize their financial stability. The event will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Butzel Recreation Complex in Detroit from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
