Wayne County Prosecutor's Office Honors Crime Victims
National Crime Victims' Rights Week is April 19 - 25, 2015. This year, we recognize and celebrate new efforts to reach more victims by expanding partnerships to new communities. The theme "Engaging Communities, Empowering Victims" provides an opportunity for a victim-centered approach to services and collaboration. The focus of the effort is to engage community leaders and organization in the field to support crime victims, and provide new avenues to enhance services.
WCPO Victim Services Unit will be setting up information booths from April 20 through April 23, 2015 during National Crime Victims' Rights Week on the 10th floor of the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office located at 1441 St. Antoine in Detroit. Victim Advocates will be available at the booth between 9-10 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. to provide support and to answer questions. Our goal is to find new resources and build new partnerships to reach and support underserved victims.
