Evan Reed - Former Tiger baseball player accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel. Today the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office received an order from the Michigan Court of Appeals dated May 26, 2015 denying Reed's application for delayed leave to appeal.

Reed is scheduled to be in court for the final conference in his case on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Shannon Walker.

Tewana Sullivan - Defendant charged with killing a woman with a crockpot in Livonia. Today the defendant entered a no contest plea to Second Degree Murder - Guilty but Mentally Ill with a 23 to 50 year sentence agreement. The defendant will be housed in the Michigan Department of Corrections after she is sentenced on June 15, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Michael Hathaway.

William Melendez - Former Inkster police officer charged in connection with the physical assault of Floyd Dent. His preliminary examination was held and he was bound over on Misconduct in Office, Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm and a count of Strangulation. The arraignment on the information is June 10, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.

Jasin Curtis - Defendant charged in the homicide of French street artist Bilal Berrini case. Curtis has pleaded guilty to Murder Second Degree with a sentence agreement of 25 to 40 years to be served consecutive to two years for the Felony Firearm count. He will be sentenced on June 12, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Bruce Morrow.

As a result of the plea in the Curtis case, Judge Morrow has consolidated the trials of Drequone Rich and Dionte Travis. Jury selection and opening statements for Travis will begin on September 8th. Jury selection and opening statements for Rich will begin on September 9th. Testimony is expected to begin on September 10th and is anticipated to last through the week of September 14th.

Defense counsel mistakenly told his client that he did not have to appear today. Judge Walker adjourned the final conference until Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 9 a.m. so that defendant could be present.
