Jacqueline Lewis - Defendant charged in connection with the fatal shooting of her husband, the non-fatal shooting of her daughter, and aiming a gun at her son. Today Lewis was sentenced to 100 months to 15 years on the Manslaughter, six to ten years on two counts of Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm, and two years consecutive for Felony Firearm.

William Melendez - Former Inkster officer on trial in connection with the assault on Floyd Dent. The closing arguments will begin tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Vonda Evans.

William Melendez - Former Inkster officer on trial in connection with the assault on Floyd Dent. After a 12 day jury trial before Judge Vonda Evans, today the jury came back with a verdict of guilty of Misconduct in Office (five year maximum penalty) and guilty of Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder (10 year maximum penalty). He was found not guilty of Assault by Strangulation (10 year maximum penalty). The defendant was remanded to jail and will have his sentence hearing on December 3, 2015. See the press release attached which includes a statement from Prosecutor Worthy. No further comment will be made until after the sentence hearing.

Christopher Head - Defendant charged in connection with the fatal shooting death of his nine-yearold son. The incident occurred while the child was under the care, custody or control of the defendant. The probable cause conference held by Judge Shannon Holmes. She lowered the defendant's bond to $50,000 - 10% with GPS tether and no contact with minors. The preliminary examination is scheduled for December 1, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.

Charles Bothuell IV - His Final Conference date has been changed at the request of the defense in the case. It will now be held on December 11, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Van Houten.
