Detroit Woman Assaulted After Car Crash
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Laticqua Larae Kinney, 20 (DOB: 02/04/1999), of Detroit, in connection with an assault following a car collision.
On March 26, 2019 at approximately 6:50 p.m., the female victim, a Detroit resident, was driving alone southbound on Linwood, near West Boston Avenue. It is alleged the defendant was driving her vehicle with two passengers, pulled in front of the victim and caused the collision. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Investigation by the Detroit Police led to the arrest of the defendant.
Kinney has been charged with Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm, Aggravated Assault and Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident.*
