Prosecutor Kym Worthy's TED Talk to be Released

In July 2018, Prosecutor Worthy participated in the TED Talks event held in Atlanta, GA. Her presentation focuses on the Detroit Sexual Assault Kit Task Force that was formed to address the over 11,000 untested sexual assault kits found abandoned in a Detroit Police Department evidence warehouse. It will be released at 11:00 a.m. EST on September 26, 2018 on go.ted.com/kymworthy
Prosecutor Worthy said: "It was an honor to be selected to give a TED Talk. It is important to give a voice to the survivors that were viciously assaulted, courageously reported, and no one came. We have worked tirelessly on these abandoned sexual assault kit cases for these Detroit survivors who have waited so long for justice."
