August 17, 2023, Canton, MI - Seven individuals were arraigned yesterday on charges in connection with the theft of sixteen 2023 Ford Bronco Raptors, retail valued at $1,760,000.

In October, 2022, the Canton Police Department began investigating the theft of multiple Raptors from a Ford Motor Company factory lot located in Canton Township. Additional, related Bronco thefts were also discovered to have occurred in Dearborn and Woodhaven.

Officers from Canton's Special Operations Group conducted a comprehensive investigation into these multiple crimes, resulting in the recovery of ten stolen Ford Bronco Raptors located in Northville, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Texas, Arizona & Alaska. They also recovered five additional stolen vehicles (non-Broncos), an AR pistol, and $28,426 in suspected cash proceeds from the sale of stolen vehicles.

On August 15, 2023, police officers from Canton, Northville Township, Novi, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield and the Oakland County Sheriff's Department arrested the below seven suspects who were charged in 35th District Court on Wednesday. The Honorable Judge James Plakas set bonds on the following charges/suspects as listed below. Their next court appearance is scheduled for August 25, 2023.

Migel Santiago, age 19 from Troy, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· Nine Counts of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $100,000 (10%) with home confinement tether

Oliaran Pernell, age 20 from Detroit, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· Ten Counts of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $100,000 (10%) with home confinement tether

Samir Rashed, age 21 from Northville, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· Nine Counts of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $100,000 (10%) with home confinement tether

Julian Lyles, age 19 from Detroit, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· Eight Counts of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $100,000 (10%) with home confinement tether

Dominick Dumont, age 19 from Northville, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· One Count of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $50,000 with home confinement tether

Abdulfattah Hamed, age 21 from Van Buren, is charged with:

· One Count of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $10,000 (10%) with GPS tether

Janisse Moss, age 19 from Lincoln Park, is charged with:

· One Count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year Felony

· Ten Counts of Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property $20,000 or More, a 10-year Felony

· Bond set at $1 million unsecured bond, with GPS tether
