Prosecutor Kym Worthy will hold a series of Town Hall meetings throughout Wayne County. The fourth town hall will be held on February 5, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Wayne County Community College-Downriver Campus on 21000 Northline Road in the Ray Max Room, in Taylor. Members of the public, police, community leaders of Allen Park, Ecorse, Lincoln Park, River Rouge, Southgate and Taylor and the press are invited to attend.

There will be a brief presentation by Prosecutor Worthy and her staff on the following topics: How the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office Operates, School Threats, Domestic Violence, Conviction Integrity Unit, Sexual Assault Kits, and the Community Prosecution Unit. After the presentation, the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served, and the last half hour will be reserved for attendees to meet with Prosecutor Worthy.

"I always enjoy having these Town Halls and interacting with the citizens of Wayne County. There are so many serious issues right now that my office deals with each day. I want to give people an idea of what an urban prosecutor's office is like. The meetings will be upfront and personal. This fourth town hall meeting will cover the Wayne County downriver communities. Other locations will be announced in the future," said Prosecutor Worthy.

Future Town Hall meetings will be held various locations in the City of Detroit and other Wayne County Communities. Dates, times and locations for subsequent Town Hall meetings will be announced.
