Wayne County Commissioner Clark-Coleman distributes turkey dinners to Detroit families
Hundreds of Detroit families received a complete Thanksgiving Dinner courtesy of Wayne County Commissioner Irma Clark-Coleman, Living Waters Church and participating businesses Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the church, 14516 W. Chicago, in Detroit.
Families had previously registered for the dinner baskets through Commissioner Clark-Coleman's office and the church. An estimated 300 families received holiday dinners.
"We want to make sure that everyone in Wayne County has a happy Thanksgiving," Commissioner Clark-Coleman said. "We are thankful for the opportunity to help so many people and grateful for the help our many sponsors provide in making that happen."
