Canton High School Assistant Varsity Hockey Coach Charged With 3 Counts Of Criminal Sexual Conduct
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Eric Christopher Locke, 20, (DOB: 01/24/1997), of Canton, in connection with an ongoing sexual relationship with a minor.
It is alleged that between November 2016 and February 2017, Locke, the assistant varsity hockey coach for Canton High School, engaged in an ongoing sexual relationship with an underage high school female.
Locke has been charged with three counts of Criminals Sexual Conduct – Third Degree*. He was arraigned yesterday before Judge Ronald Lowe. The probable cause conference is scheduled for March 10, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Michael Gerou. The preliminary examination is scheduled for March 17, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Ronald Lowe in 35th District Court. The defendant received a $500,000 personal bond, plus tether.
*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
