A 14-year-old juvenile female student attending Grosse Pointe North High School located in the 1000 block of Vernier in Grosse Pointe Woods has been charged with False Report or Threat of Terrorism. On Monday, December 19, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., it is alleged that the juvenile made a false threat that caused a lockdown of the 1.500 student school until 1:05 p.m.

She had a preliminary hearing today at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Center before Magistrate Leslie Graves. The respondent received a $2000/10% cash bond, must comply with school disciplinary action and continue therapy services. The next court date is on February 28, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., via zoom before Judge Christopher Dingell.
