Two Charged in Detroit Night Club Non-Fatal Shooting
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Alveon Roosevelt Kindle, 21, of Clinton Township, and Paul Monyee Kindle, 23, of Southfield, in connection with the non-fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man of Detroit.
On April 28, 2025, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Detroit police officers were around Woodward Avenue and Adams Street when they heard multiple shots fired. Officers canvassed the area and located the victim in front of a night club in the 1500 block of Woodward Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
It is alleged that the defendants robbed the victim of his necklace. When the victim attempted to recover the necklace, it is further alleged that Defendant Alveon Kindle fired a handgun multiple times, non-fatally
wounding the victim, before fleeing the scene. The defendants were taken into custody by the Southfield
Police Department and turned over to the Detroit Police Department a short time later.
Alveon Roosevelt Kindle has been charged with Armed Robbery, Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with
Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, and three counts of Felony Firearm.*
Paul Monyee Kindle has been charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited
Person, and two counts of Felony Firearm.*
They were arraigned and remanded to jail this afternoon in 36th District Court before Magistrate William
